The mugen wing is mounted using the stock bolt locations for the OEM wing. It's four bolts total, so you can remove it for street, but then less people would rev on you and/or give you condescending looks. So the desired effect for many will be considerably lessened.

And actually the mugen wing sits too low for track duty, so when I go to the Chin events i will fabricate extensions to get the wing to my roofline. This is where the wing has the greatest downforce, and most ridiculous look.
Not to derail this thread (in a different direction than it is derailed already), but Mugen actually makes extensions for their wing. If you're happy with your brackets that's fine too, but all Mugen parts are wind tunnel tested, so their brackets/spacers/extensions or whatever they're called should work very well -- they're also SUPER rare, but if you wanted I'm sure you could get Mackin or Bulletproof or AJ-Racing to get a set for ya.

Thanks for the diagram Bill, guess I need to take it off before I take off!
naw, I think they look great, and if you are driving fast enough to feel the lift, you are going way too fast. It's just a theory anyway. There's no proof that the BYS wing actually causes lift.
