Every year on the Memorial Day weekend our neighboring SCCA Region puts on a Solo I event at Skelly Field just outside of OPP, AL. Opp is a few miles north of Crestview and an easy drive from NW Florida. The Wiregrass Region is a small region with only a few workers and we want to help them make this event a success. Every year we do the timing for the event and have a few workers help out. This year we are begging for help. A Solo I is nothing like the Solo II

What do you guys do - camp over, get a motel or drive 200 miles each day?

Gerry, most of us either camp on site or stay in a motel in Enterprise 20 miles past the site. The Hotel is next door to the Honda dealer where I bought my S2000 in 99. The racers almost all will be there Friday night and many of the workers also. It's a good time and a BIG site.
