So my neighbors dog has been home alone since I got home from work yesterday at noon. It has barked pretty much non-stop as well. We've called animal control and the sheriffs office twice and since we're law obiding citizens theres nothing they will do to help us. Why the #### is it that when your just trying to live a peacefull life teh law won't help you but if you chose to do dirty sh*t you can always make it someone elses fault through the law? I need a drink!

find him a female dog in heat that should quiet him for a while...

 

get out a video camera and let it run for a few hours. Then show it to the police when they arrive. Evidence makes for a very compelling argument ... trust me on that one. I had an issue with a neighbors dog just a few months ago. The dog was a 75lb pit-mix and would actually take steps TOWARD me as i walked out the front door of the house!!

I chased him a few times hoping he'd get the picture (swinging and throwing stuff at him too). Didn't seem to work. So, then i caught him IN my fenced-in back yard!! I took pictures of this and showed them to the police. The owner was given ONE warning and made aware that they had already received evidence of the incident.

The dog never came back ... and eventually the owners MOVED!

Female dog, just a puppy about 5 months old but with a loud bark.

Wife said to record it and play it outside their bedroom window while they're trying to sleep once they get home.

Problem is that I like teh husband and get along with hime fine. It's teh know it all loudmouth wife that I can't stand. I think I'm going to have a talk with him this evening about the advantages of boarding your pets when you go away.
