I was at Gingerman again yesterday. Took some more video, (tape not digital camera). A few laps of Greg aka Mr. Sandman and myself, on the track.
Greg said that afterburn can convert or show-tell me how to make my video into mjegs.
The catch. I need afterburn to email me how, and I only have Macs not PC yuk!!!!!!!

So if you could please help. Send me an email at keith@valleyengraving.com. I have a T-1 at that location.

Thanks

PS For those of you reading this, Greg kept it out of the sand this time. Instead he tried to cut and gather grass, and bring some home with him.
All in fun, at least he pushes his car father then me. Fun to watch and follow behind. FOR NOW!

Glad you were able to make it down for the track time yesterday. It was a blast, as usual! How was the 3 1/2 hour drive from Chicago?!

Catch ya later...

Cutten the grass hu? Damb you keep doing that and your cat lives are gonna run out! Lets see Scarlet 1, Playing in the sandbox, mowing the grass, any others?

You got 6 more lives in my book!

If aft3rburn isn't around maybe I can help. To digitise analogue video you need some sort of digitiser card. PM7100AV's and 6100AV's came with them and were good for low quality digitising (the sort you'd use for the web publishing). Several other Mac's (anything with AV in it's name) will do the trick.

Otherwise you have to look at a 3rd party product. There are some interesting USB video capture products.

I have Something called Strata Videoshop. It converts VHS, DVD, 8mm, TV, basically any thing with RCA cables into MPG's.(Movies that are viewable with Quicktime.
It was only around $100.00. If you are going to do this allot you might want to invest in this or something like it. If you are not in a big hurry to see it you could send it to me and I would be glad to make you some clips.
