This is an absolutely senseless act. It wasn't as if this idiot who was street racing didn't know the potential consequences of his thoughtless actions, given that he already has blood on his hands.

He hasn't been charged YET. It doesn't say he will not be charged in this accident. My guess is they are trying to find the other vehicle and get more information from actual witnesses.

Is it me or does every crash including a young guy and a death, they happen to be 'street racing'? He couldve been but I think the news just broadcasts it as a street race to make people more aware. Yes he couldve been speeding, but I dont think the news sees a difference in speeding and/or street racing.
Not supporting the guy cause even if he wasnt 'street racing' he still shouldnt of been going that fast in a 35mph zone.
