I think my leg would fall off being in the car that long. I'd probably get to Texas, say F-it and drive home.

 

i am doing all i can to get myself ready for this ... besides sobering up right now.


I've been calling all of my cali 'contacts' today to see who's feeling friendly enough to keep me for a few days. Not that i mind staying at a great hotel with spa ... i LOVE massages!

From Ocala it's 2,442 miles ... and Google says it's 'about 1 day 11 hours' !?!? That's a Cannon-Ball run if i've ever heard of one!

One option could be to only drive one way. If there's enough people and interest here in the Southeast (Florida, Georgia, Alabama) I'd like to see if we can arrange a transporter to deliver the cars either to the event in California or back to the Southeast.

I'll start pricing that today ... i have a few contacts that hopefully will give us a good rate on something like this. Amtrak also had a similar service but I'm not sure of their rates or availability.

I'll start diggin today ... if anyone else has any ideas let me know.
