Default The Roebling Raceway

Just thought I'd start a thread about the event. This is my 2nd time up here with CMS and to say I'm pumped would be an understatement. The first time was a great learning experience and I quickly discovered that safety mods are the best bet to quicker times. Also known as roll bar, harnesses, seats, etc. Oh and how I hate the look of AP1 stockers. I had no memory of how different the car looked considering how long I've been a Work Miester S2r boy.

I'm not on the track yet but will be getting up at about before dawn to shower, grab a cup of java, and head out to get in line for a great weekend. At inspection tonight I've seen everything from total track cars like an RX-7, Miata, several BMWs to a Lotus, another S2000, Viper, Vette, Porsche, you name it. In less than 15 minutes I had two different people comment on the Hard Dog roll bar I have now. Apparently a well crafted bar for the S2000 is quite rare. More to come but here's a few pics from today. I'm sure there will be some better ones tomorrow night after I get to see some cars in action. Hopefully there will be a photographer on hand to snap a few pics of the Black Mistress going through a turn or two.

Enjoy,
Shay

Who is Jon?

I'll definitely need to catch up with you on some rubber soon. I think I want something with some more treadwear for the 18s and step up on the trackers.

I thought the s had ZERO towing capacity.....you should have the car on a trailer behind the ridgeline.

First time I went to Sebring with my 300ZX TT, I came home with metal on metal brakes and a slipping clutch. It was a very long two hour drive home.

I am very jealous.
