Talking S2000 a "Future Classic"

http://editorial.autos.msn.com/slideshow.a...entid=1102275#9

I was wasting time at work looking at this silly MSN list, and when I saw the article title "10 modern cars sure to become future classics" I thought - of COURSE the S2000 will be in this. There's nothing else quite like it before or since.

Check out slide 9 - they picked the 2008 CR, but in my heart, all S2000's are future classics.

Time to take off all your mods and store you S. You need to turn it into a garage queen.

The Toyota Prius on slide 12 is not giving their analysis much credit.

I guess I was right all along!! before I jumped ship I was going to buy a CR, actually headed out to the dealership that had the only yellow in my area (27 miles away) and half way down the trip, after thinking a while about the soft top issue, I turned around. But I'll own a daily driver again. BTW I'm happy with my current choice in Europe, it's already a classic .....

And a HUGE reason why Sandy has refused for nearly 9 years (12/1 will be 9) to let me sell the S. I thought after 2 kids, buying a larger home, her becoming a stay at home mom, etc....it's gotta go. Well, the S is still in the garage. 5 years as a DD and 4 as a garage queen/occassional track star and still forbidden to leave the premise. Love'm both.

Yeah, Autoweek proclaimed it a future classic too! Of course it probably wouldn't be my first choice on the list!!
