Jeeez what a freak thing to happen! Hopefully you'll be able to recover 100%

 

Doc pulled out the first packing monday and it started bleeding again, not as bad though. got it to stop and repacked it with some lighter stuf and I at least don't have a hose hanging out of my face! Follow up again on friday, he's optimistic that it will heal fine and doubled my antibiotic treatment for another 5 days. says that the tingling should go away with the swelling and if not then we'll look further into it. Still said that an injury on such soft tissue takes alot longer to heal than other areas of teh body so I have to take it easy and not get my BP up or it could open again.

All in all feeling much better, I think my body has almost reproduced all the blood I lost. (damn near 2 pints)

Infection sucks, bleeding sucks, but what I'm worried about is nerve damage. That's usually irreparable and quite upsetting. I'm praying you come back 100%!
