Soft top already wearing through
soft top torn on passenger side
Please check out the linked thread and check your own top. I have the exact problem and when i went to the dealer they say its wear and tear. I bought the car new 14 months ago. I just figured if someone else was local with the same problem it would show that it was a manufacturers defect.

wear and tear ....i dont think so I had a new top OEM honda put on my car before I took delivery of it from a Credit Union and it has lasted over 2 years with ZERO wear and tear.
there is something wrong with your folding apparatus or something IMHO 14 months should not produce wear like that.
Did you buy the car new or used? it could have a cheap aftermarket fabric on it if it is a used car.
Just throwing out ideas

Yeah , that's
. Only 14 mos. old and you got tears in your top ?! Sounds like a warranty fix to me . My '03 has had zero problems , other than some "shiny" marks where the frame tubes rest on each other when the top is down . I can live with that . Tears ? Not so much . As always , when you deal with the service dept. , start out gentle and get progressively more abrasive if they don't want to help . Good luck !
