Default turbo help

I just heard of Kakimoto making an exhaust system for the S2K. is this exhaust good wit turbo application or is it strictly N/A. Also for those who do have a turbo- how do you get anti-lag. I just saw it on super honda. blkturbos2k has it done and i want to know how to get it

Small turbos spin quick and have less lag but also have less horsepower potential. The opposite is true for larger turbos. A small turbo would be ideal for an S2000 as a daily driver because the efficiency range of the turbo might kick in early from 2500 rpm's to 6000 rpms where the S2000 is naturally lacking in torque and horsepower. With a naturally aspirated engine a certain amount of backpressure is needed, too little can negatively affect the engine. With forced induction a larger and more open exhaust is ideal to a point.

I would go with a custom exhaust. Pick a muffler you like the sound of that is 3in all the way through. Then have a exhaust made specifically off of your down pipe. That will be as good as any exhaust on the market.

Hygeneboy is correct. A smaller twin ball bearing turbo is the way to go for less lag. There is a way of anti-laging the turbo. I have heard about it but no details.

You need to post questions like this in the "under the hood" forum. You will get answers quickly.

I never heard of a actual product called anti lag, other than reb-bull. I dont lag when I drink that.

Really, it is all about picking the right turbo for your set up. Go the the Forced Induction section and read up in there.

You told me you had a turbo already dude. Are you going to go with a different set up?

Anti-lag and launch control are settings found in the AEM EMS. Not sure how either work at this point, but I doubt that unless you are running some serious hp niether will help you out like they sound.
