1994 Toyota Celica GT clean car
It is older but will go to the ends of the earth on a tank of fuel Two air bags $3,600 bucks
On a 1 to 10 scale 10 being a new car this car is an 8/9 it's that clean Spend the extra $7K you were going to spend on books, a nice lap top, and insurance for it for the next few years
A TDI desiel VW Bettle would not be a bad choice. Good mpg. Very safe...plastic body panels, so no door dings from school parking lots and absorb minor bumps well. Handle very well and have awsome brakes.

Puddy, are you selling this one? 5 speed or automatic?
Yes I am 5 spd clutch is great too I also have a 1997 Toyota PU with 4 cyl. auto and air It's not as clean as the Celica but it is very nice If you are into high end stuff I have a 1987 Rolls-Royce it is black and bad to the bone I can post pics, Cars and parts is what I do
Brooksville ... it's the natural location for fallout from whatever you're blowing up in Jacksonville!
Red1: This isn't a news-flash but I'd stay with a Honda product. Maybe an Element or CRV? Still decent on gas, still small enough for compact parking, and good for taking her 'stuff' around.
If you want to see the fish that got away, look over the hood of the Celica....in the background of the pic you will see a blue Toyota 1987 Land Cruiser 4 X 4. The old school sport utility has only 120K miles with original paint and interior, full power, inline 6 with 4 spd. trans. Bought local for $4,500 She is on her way to North Carolina now. The market value on this gem is around $12 to 18K as it is I let my neighbor have it

Looks great but she needs an Automatic.
I would prefer she learn how to drive a manual shift as I think it makes you a better driver, better control over the car and you have to pay more attention to driving. An aotomatic lets your mind wander and focus on other things. (IMO).
Wow! Those things are getting $12k-$18k!!! My friend has an '82 FJ40. Everything is original except for the paint and the radio (even has a hard top). He had to paint it and 'clean' it ... but, still only paid $5k for it ... maybe i should make him an offer!?
