Jillian is high up in the spill response management chain, and I have been at sea doing research for weeks and a couple of months at 80+ hour weeks before that getting the ship ready. I have only seen her 3 or 4 times since the spill happened.
We were on the Today Show and NBC nightly news the 22nd and 23rd. I have film crews from CNN and BBC on the ship right now. Loading up another group of scientists and possibly the head of NOAA to go to Mississippi Canyon in the Port of St. Pete tomorrow. Charlie Crist and Bill Nelson are also on our list of VIP's so it has been a trifle hectic to say the least.

wow ... i just had to do a double-check ... and notice the CO badge!
Thanks to everyone for your support. I hope I can bring a little life to the S2000 community in this area and then make trips out to you guys in the 'big cities'
