Default WTB CD changer

I want to buy a CD changer for my car... 6 or 8 or 12, doesn't matter. I just want something! Would it be best to buy the OEM or something aftermarket? How much should I expect to pay or does anyone want to sell one that they have?

ever thought about going with a mp3 disc readable single CD head unit?

if you have alot of MP3 music, you can fit a ton on one CD and not need to use a multi-disc CD changer.

or how about hooking up an IPOD you can fit even more music in there

Just a thought, becasue most people are shy-ing away from cd changers lately

Thanks Rob, I never thought about that... I don't have anything mp3 or an IPOD but you're right, maybe I should consider that instead. Spending money on a CD changer in a couple years will be like buying a new tape player or 8 track.

exactly

with all the connectivity and the relative short amount of time needed to convert your CD's to mp3 you could really increase your music options relatively easily.

The alpine head unit I got is a standard CD with AUX jacks and XM capable so I figured I could go in many directions with it.

Research it a little and you will find there is a ton of options out there and cheaper now too

Cheryl!

I have an Alpine 6 disc that goes in the trunk!

It is aftermarket, but I have the PAC adapter cord that plugs into the stock headunit that sends the signal AND gets power for the changer... Just sitting in my house...

Yanked it out the a couple of days after I bought the car...

It would work PERFECT!

PM'd you.
