It is built to hold 130,000 PSI it has 60mm ARP flange head screws and a reinforcing strap.

s2kpuddyday is the man.
Just got the diff he built for me installed.
Lift time is a rare commodity at the shop right now.
Now to get 300miles on the diff and another fluid change before the next autox

so the extra is the ARP screws and reinforcing strap?
What is the "OS LSD" written, is that an aftermarket LSD and is it included?
Last thing, what is the price of a returning customer? (I think only previously bought the air pump cover )
I'm currently running at 380 Tq. (522 HP). Thanks again for your quick response!

s2kpuddydad,
i plan on going FI hopefully by the beginning of next year
anyways i want to "beef-up" the car before doing so and in my list of things to do is getting a stronger diff. i also want to change gears so the car will have faster acceleration while im NA but also wont be over kill when i finally get sc'd
i am shooting for about 350whp but down the road might decide to up it to about 400whp
can you pm me what you think would best suit my needs so i can be worry free and also some estimates
thanks!
-Zack

Hey Ben, I need to give you a call later today.. My differential is starting to act up. Could possibly be the LSD.
Long story short:
- Slight hum/whirring during decelleration while in gear, and out of gear (in neutral as well).
- Coming up to a full stop in a straight line, no noise or anything from the rear of the car. Perfect.
- No noise, hum or whirring, comes from the rear during any sort of acceleration.
- Making low-speed (under 10mph), immediate/sharp left or right turns, in forward or reverse.. The rear end seems clunkly and makes an audiable 'cogging' noise when making turns like this. (ONLY when out of gear or in neutral.. However, when IN gear, it wants to make the noise, but instead, I can feel the bump bump bump, instead of hearing the noises... It's HARDLY noticeable, unless you're truly waiting to feel it..)
- From the exterior of the car, when making these low-speed turns, the sound appears to be coming from directly under the center of the car.. (already replaced the Secondary Shaft Bearings in the transmission, thinking this was the source..)
- When the car is on jack-stands, and with the engine running, and in any gear.. There are absolutely no abnormal sounds coming from the differential, using a mechanic's-stethoscope.
- While the car is in the air, with it in gear, rotating either of the rear wheels individually, will cause the other to rotate in the opposite direction (True nature of the Torsen LSD). HOWEVER, it is extremely difficult to get a wheel turning/rotating.. almost feels like a flat spot somewhere, causing a bind. This makes the propeller-shaft/driveshaft want to turn over as well..
- Lastly.. driving the car daily around town, under normal driving conditions and at speed.. Nothing. Not a sound, not a vibration, nothing. Only upon decelleration, and low speed turns.
Help???! Any suggestions?
Last time my differential ring and pinion gear was going out, or shot.. it whined/whirred at all speeds.. decellerating and accelerating.. And coming to a stop, it was very notchy, and the clicking was audiable from the outside of the car, as well as inside.
I'm not getting any of those symptoms^^ So, I'm assuming it could be my LSD unit, or possibly a bearing maybe??
Thanks again Ben, and I look forward to hearing your insight.
