Is that related to the clutch buzz sound?
Umm, hard to say as of now. When I backed out of the driveway today I thought I heard a faint clunk in the rear. It wasn't the ABS or whatever that is in the brake system that makes noise when you first drive the car. Might just be me being noid after reading all the TSB's. I will continue to listen for it.

Also when I start the car hot or cold it seems to jumble or vibrate for a brief moment, almost like bad motor mounts - but those can't be worn. Both of my friends NSX's did the same thing now that I think of it. Maybe its because they are handbuilt. Any thoughts?

I got a chance to drive the car on old Wildhorse creek road last Sunaday...what a car. I keep having to get used to the 9,000RPM red line. The car has alot more grunt down low than I expected. Gotta love VTEC. 3rd gear was quite adequite for most of the corners for maintaining a "good clip"

The pop noise may be a loose hubnut (see link)

I think I've heard this before, too, in MY02. Dang, now I'm getting worried that the list of things to check is growing. Also want to inspect the valves (see KC post & reason why it's important)

My ears will be wide open today. Its probably no that hard to fix if it needs to be done. We'll just get some people together and figure it out.

So let me ask you guys... who does your work on your S2K (maybe this should be a seperate thread)? But who do YOU trust to touch your S2K? I plan to do my own work (like I do with my Prelude).

What kind of work do you guys do? I'm just trying to learn a whole new car again... so it's kinda fun at the same time. I'm looking forward to doing stuff like valve adjustments, brakes, suspension, exhaust, intake manifold gaskets, etc... I've already swapped out a driver side mirror! (yay me!).

I can't speak for the others as I haven't made it to an install day yet, but I do pretty much everything that doesn't require me to open up the engine. The high revving bit combined with it being my only car has scared me off that so far. Of course I've had no need to open it up either.

I find the car pretty easy to work on. I had a link to the full manual somewhere Keith, it's now on my hard drive. I'll have to get that to you.

I actually have the Helms book + the PDF file before I even took delivery of the car David. Thanks though!

I've done a couple engine swaps, handful of head swaps, adjusted more valves than I would like to remember and a handful of t-belt changes... it gets to a point where I wanna try something new.
