What kind of work do you guys do? I'm just trying to learn a whole new car again... so it's kinda fun at the same time. I'm looking forward to doing stuff like valve adjustments, brakes, suspension, exhaust, intake manifold gaskets, etc... I've already swapped out a driver side mirror! (yay me!).

Keith
Have done most of those. Maybe not to my car, but to someones. Don't know if I would try a tranny or engine swap though

I was looking over on how to remove the tranny (to change the clutch + flywheel) and it doesn't look too bad...

Also I bought a 4th gen Prelude and COMPLETELY took it a part, stripped it and sold the parts. That was fun .

Now you have me worried - how do I know if the tech at whichever local Honda dealer is "S2000 specialized"?

Talk with the Service Manager before hand. Each service area should have a techy that specialized in a specific vehicle. If not, take it elsewhere. I know Ed Napleton does for sure. Not for sure yet about Leta

If you need help with anything just post in our forum. Most of us have gone through this before and have all the tools you need (almost). As well as are willing to help/teach.

Do you know all the touque specs for an oil change?

Check Here for a nice write-up
