Default Changing Fluids

Anyone with a lift planning on having an install / fluid change day? I just got in new transmission and differential fluid and I just got to thinking that this would be best done with the car level, not tilted up on jackstands. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Dewar

No planned install day until March. If you can convince jimmyj to give you some garage time, then your set.

Otherwise... You can change tranny and diff fluid without a lift easy enough. What most of us do is jack the car and place on 4 stands

Yep, that was me autocrossing. I only made a couple events this year. I'm hoping to make the first few event this year before I ship off to New York. I remember you and your buddy were FAST.

It would be great if we could use P5744D's friend's shop if others need to do this too. As far as dates, my schedule is really flexible. If not, no big deal -- I can definitely get by with jack stands once the weather improves a bit. I already have all the fluids and new washers ready to go.

You're more than welcome to come my my place for a fluid change as well. We should be able to do the oil, tranny and diff in around an hour.
