Smile My jack is jacked up!

I got the Craftsman jack from Sears about 2 years ago. It was great when it was new and has pretty good clearance. Now even when I try to twist the handle as slow as possible, the car comes down too fast!

Is this a common thing that is easy to fix? With the Craftsman or other jacks in general? Do I need to change the fluid or something?

Could be the fluid. But if its like any craftsman tool just return it and they should be able to exchange it with no questions asked.

Yeah, I would check and bleed the fluid.

I just bought some fluid. I'll try it out tomorrow. I just wanted to get this all figured out before doing a coilover install.
