well they did notice something happening in the 1st piston so they are going to correct that as well. just in time for the detail/install day. then i get get the other parts shipped to get powder coated and have everything ready for the meet of the Midwest coming up. any new info on that?

I used Stainless valves and Titanium keepers and locks. They are slightly taller but have had no problems for 30k

I used the Ferrea, not sure of any others, very pretty in the box I'll never see then again.

Hey, good news about the engine! So when you said the valve was stretched, does that mean it is bent open? And are they having new valves put in, what sort? Did you go and see what they are talking about? Valves are now on my to do list - I will do what Tim did and polish the head while I'm at it. Also the old oil jet bolts and drilling holes in my cam cover's windage tray so that huge clouds of oil smoke dont come out around right handers after hard braking...WTF?! I thought I bought a Honda!
