yeah, I put my plate back on after getting pulled over a twice specifically for not having a front plate. Pretty lame methinks (once in Overland, once in Valley Park). So I feel what y'all are goin through...just have to deal with it I guess. Funny though, I hardly see a Porche/BMW "m"/Vette and certainly no Italian exotic with front plates...

I think it depends on the car you got. I got a ticket when I had my cavalier it had a body kit on it but i never was questioned once when I had my vetter or my s2k so far so I beleive its kinda like if your a ricer your going to get a ticket. So driving an s2k tastefully modded your probably not going to land a ticket

I've had my S for 3 years and never had a problem with cops for no front plate, but I do remember back in 2007, we had a meet at Starved Rock, Il. and the cops came because some kid was doing donuts in the parking lot and they blocked the only way in and out and giving tickets for everything, including no front plates. Luckily I keep my front plate in the trunk. (just in case) I just screwed it on when I left and took it back off once I got down the road.
