I hate people that can't drive
Took me a while to cool down before posting this. Was heading home from Stefanina's and needed to get gas. Just as I was turning into the gas station, some a-hole did a quick "u" turn in the entrance, while on the phone, and ran me right up on the curb.
Did not even see me, nor cared. If I did not 'Zig' there would have been a head on.
Damage is not too bad and more cosmetic than anything. The underside of the side skirt from the back tire to mid passenger door is pretty scraped up. Fortunately, it can not be seen unless you get on your knees to look at it. A little sanding and touch up (probably about 2 bottles worth) should do the trick.
I guess it could have been worse and I'm glad it is not.

My work has us take a drivers safety course every year. This year's new statistic is, "Driver's on cell phones are 4x more likely to be in or cause and wreck." The most interesting factoid is that hands-free cell phones are no better. Those drivers are still 4x more likely to cause a wreck.
Be careful out there. watch for drivers with a hand near their ear. They're probably talking on a phone and paying half as much attention as they should to the road.
