So I'm leaving in about an hour or so to drive to Florida to see shuttle Atlantis blast off. I'll be driving the S2K there and back by myself, should be interesting. I'm also planning to swing by the Tail of the Dragon on my way back. I'll be sure to take a bunch of pics and some video. I'll give a full report when I return. Wish me luck that the weather holds out so the launch doesn't get delayed.

Well, I'm in Florida, it's been a heck of a long drive so far. I'm a little south of Tallahassee with about 5 hours to go. I'll update later.

Headed to Jacksonville to meet up with some S2Ki people.

 

Update: I hung out with some S2K people from Jacksonville, Florida last night; we had pizza and beer at their usual spot. They had a good showing of 10 cars plus mine. I left them about midnight and headed for North Carolina. Made couple stops for a nap or two and arrived at The Dragon about 2pm. I made 3 passes and bought a couple souvenirs. Lots of motorcycles and average cars. A couple people had some mishaps. I took it easy but had a great time. I will have to go again. I'll update again later.
