The smart ass comment was not directed at you. Some poeple like having nitrogen in their tires just to say they have nitrogen in their tires, and that's worth $10 to them (just like people having strut tower bars in a car that doesn't transfer load through the suspenion towers). The post was a response to Diz asking if there was an actual advantage to it.

NP, where I work you have to have thick skin, I'll probably be asking a lot more ?'s I get tired of adding air or dumping it with temp changes, I think I need new 17" tires and wheels, think my wife will belive it ???
