Thumbs up 'Dents & Dings'

Hi all,

I was at Honda Carland today finishing up some things on my purchase and pointed out a spot on the driver's side door of my car to my salesman. It looks like the previous owner opened the door on something and it slightly bent the edge of the door in the area pictured (damage not pictured - i'm too lazy to go downstairs and take a pic of the door for this). It's not something that you notice unless you're one of 'us' so I'm hesitant to have anyone touch it. They agreed to fix it for me and I spoke with the guy who would be fixing it. His name is David Korsen and the name of the company is "Dents & Dings" it's located on Mansell Rd. The two url's on his card are denthq.com and dentsdings.com

If anyone knows about this guy or knows of someone they trust please let me know. I don't know a lot about having dents removed so all of this kind of freaks me out. I'd lose it if he f'd my door up!

I haven't heard of dents and dings, but a number of people have used Precision Dent and have been very happy with the results. Since the dealership is taking care of it, I'm not sure you have much of a choice as long as it comes out ok I guess. If you want to look up the other company, here's their info:

Precision Dent & Detail Services

Here's a thread about them: http://www.s2katlanta.com/%7Es2katl/forum/...read.php?t=3602

Sounds like a 5 minute job for someone with some skill and a rubber mallet. I wouldn't worry too much about the repair going badly.

It's not hard to get damage on the door like that.

I gingerly opened my door against a garage wall for a year (I even had one of those garage wall guards) and I have noticed a small bend in that spot. The metal is real thin.

Post up your results as I'm curious what the outcome is.
