I'm moving to Atlanta, Georgia. I was wondering whether anyone knows whether neon/led underbody kits are street legal there? Also, what about windshield tinting?

When i drove through atlanta i saw some del sol and integra with them on the freeway driving w/o a problem at night. Now for whatever reason, GA freeway has some of the slickest sneakiest un-marked police ive ever seen and they're EVERYWHERE.

i know that full windshield tint here is illegal. the limit is a 6" strip of 35%

cars must have 35% all around and SUV's have o have 35% on the front 2 windows.

they just re-issued the tint laws and no matter what anyone tells you they are getting strict about it. just because you get a few sayong "ive had 20% for a year" doesnt mean a lot when there are thousands of people out there. its jsut a matter of time and chance.


as for the under body kit i think you are ok as long as you steer clear of red and blue and it doesnt flash(at least while you are moving) but whay would you want it anyways?the stuff is hideous.(just my 2cp)

Saw a unmarked Dodge Magnum RT the other day.

People still drive like it's the autobaun here.
Today I had a cop (marked) pass me doing 85+ while I was doing 75 in a 55.

 

Yeah, it's a crapshoot with that stuff. The tint laws are being disputed again, but I'm pretty sure they're enforcing them in the meantime. I have 5% all around (except for windshield of course) so I'm a bit nervous, but I spent good money on it and don't drive the car often so I'm taking my chances with getting caught. As for the lights, like spider said, just stay clear of red and blue and you should be ok. BTW, check out the atlanta site at www.s2katlanta.com
