Hello,

New owner trying to get a hardtop installed on Tuesday June 28. I will be driving down from Chattanooga, TN.

I am buying a hardtop from a member on this board who lives in NE Atlanta near what he called "spaghetti junction". I will be getting directions from him soon.

His car is a 2002 and my car is a 2002. From what I have read I will only need to uninstall his "catchers" and install them on my car. The striker plates are correct already on a 2002. If this is not correct please correct my statement.

I have a helms manual coming in Thursday so I plan on reading up on the process. I would be even more comfortable if I could get a local atlanta member to stop by and lend a hand. I will definitely compensate $$ for the effort and also provide a 6 pack of your favorite beverage

Just so you know I am not completely incompetent I have completed several mods to this point:
CF Hood
CF Trunk
04 Wheels
OEM Wing
Vision hood dampers

I just have some apprehension on this install and would be very grateful for any assistance.

spaghetti junction is where I85 and I285 intersects. Sorry I could be no help.

 

Thanks for the location. I now at least have a geographical reference to where I am headed.
