Glad to see Boogers is back and been posting in the main forum the last week.
Though so far it seems that Boogers seems to have a milder personality. I thought it was supposed to be the other way around.

The thing I like about sci-fi is that who knows, one day some of that stuff might happen. Who'd have thought things like computers or the internet could exist in 1700AD, you know?
I don't think every concept imagined is possible, but some things might! We just don't know which.
Arthur C. Clarke said, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
Just my two cents.

As long as that little medical thing from star trek that they wave over you to fix anything is around when my lung cancer arrives I'll be happy.
My favorite sci-fi is Firefly, a short lived series of one season. In it they didn't have fancy tricorders (the star trek medical thing) and when someone got shot by a gun, it was a serious matter.
Ships still flew into space and whatnot, but that was practically the only fabulously advanced techology...
All the people speak Chinese and English, because the supposition is that the two last Superpowers in the world were China and the US. And the "earth that was" was destroyed in a nuclear war between the two, so ships were launched out from Earth to colonize other solar systems.
What I liked so much, other than the excellent character development, was that it was the most "realistic" sci-fi show I've seen. No teleporting either.
