So remember when I thought I had a kidney stone and it was really gallstones? Well yesterday I actually had a kidney stone and I got it on a redeye flight coming back from Vancouver. It was amazingly horrible.
Get well, Jim. My team lead just went through this. He was present at work, mostly, but mentally not there for about 10 days as he was in so much discomfort.
10 days? holy crap. Once I got some morphine in the ER I was good to go.

Yeah man, that was the best trip to the ER I've made and I've had a few.

Oh that sucks big time. I'm not really sure which of the two is the worst pain I have ever felt but I probably give the kidney a slight edge as it moves the pain into your balls.
Yea, the gallstones were comparable maybe having a slight edge as far as the pain goes, but the kidney stone was more spread out in the back and down into the wang area and feeling like you have to pee REALLY BAD and only being able to let out a dribble here or there is just horrible. So stay hydrated.

Still, my little 70-300mm did an okay job of getting good, full frame telephoto shots. I just wish the chromatic aberration on that lens wasn't so bad. I guess you can't ask too much from a sub $200 piece of glass, though.

According to my boss (rather his wife), the planes literally flew right over there house in Leesburg. Really, that is where we should have gone.

Pain in the wang area is never a good thing.
