But, honestly, anything is better than today. Seems like a few of my colleagues are just angry that they had to be here. Not enough down time over the weekend or something.

Passing kidney stones has been compared to the closest thing a man can get to the pains of giving birth.

Oh, that irks me. Not the kidney stones, but the "We hooked a machine up to a man so he can feels what its like to give birth".

Why?

It is no secret that childbirth hurts. Labor is called that for a reason. If you are a female and you don't know it is going to hurt to give birth, please don't pass along your stupidity to future generations. It hurts, it hurts real bad.

But, if I hit my finger with a hammer, do I have to hit yours too so that you understand what pain is? The whole thing is a pissing contest. My pain is better than your pain! Oh, look, look how strong females are for going through childbirth, I think I'll just shock my nads so we are equal now.

It does not work that way, and anyone prescribing to the theory is wrong or stupid or both.
