hmm but they are out of stock until the new 6UL-R wheels are made (May).. hopefully they make this one with the new manufacturing process

Nope. You can get a DVI to HDMI cable. It just won't send an audio signal. You will need to run RCA's from your sound card to your tv/receiver.

no quality degradation? but then I would need digital sound somehow. So add a new sound card into the mix I guess. The card in there now is nice but it's all 3.5mm jacks.
