Oh and with regards to the Saddam execution I've got some really mixed feeling about all the excitement over it. Of course the bastard should be dead, but we were outraged when parts of the world celebrated the attack on 9/11 or when video was released of the executions of our soldiers... so why then are the networks so eager to get their hands on the footage?
Because we'll watch it with great enthusiasm of course.

A member just came down to pick up tenblade's Airwalker lip. Traffic was heavy but moving. Probably will get a little better now that the fog has completely burned off. They were coming from Rockville.
Also, doesn't Navy play in Charlotte today/tonight? that would contribute to some add'l early traffic .

Well, I'd just say we could meet up next week in Quantico/Dumfries but I know you want to get it out of your way.

I feel that it is good that it was carried out quickly. Less anguish... less chance of intervention. I think many people need to see/feel that an era of atrocities has symbolicly ended. The US should not be among them. His transgressions were not against us. Today, we have won nothing. His death by execution is not a feather in our cap. The fact that we captured him was.

Later all, off to an Eid celebration
