I have decided I am going to order a new C6, for less then 10K more I will get a 07 coupe with mostly the same power, a way better interior, 7yr 100K warranty.
Maybe not the same catchet as a Z06.
Now my S2000 will have to sit outside this winter...
Anyone have garage space to rent?

Wow, George... You are serious about this, aren't you... Good luck with the purchase!
I wouldn't worry about the whole Z06 cachet. There are plenty of readily available aftermarket parts for the LS engines. (I bet you already know that, though...) Save yourself the $$$ and make one. Sleepers are always cooler anyhow.
