i'm assuming your going off a 2000 calorie a day plan..

now tell me how eating 2 big mac's a day will make you loose weight and keep it off in the long run?
because you burn more calories than the big macs provide?

your metabolism would slow down a lot. and realistically, there are a small percentage of folks that would eat just 2 big macs every single day...

so basically from this... you can eat all fat and chocolate's or what have you but not exceed 2000 calories a day, and still be healthy and in shape..

It wouldn't because your body would drop to the point that 1,060 calories a day is sufficent. Then it would maintain that. You would be all fat and no muscle.. but the weight would be not that much.

Remember Alan. Your body needs fat in order for your organs to work properly.

Oh ofcourse...your body needs the fat to survive yes.. the carbs can be done without...if your not active..

the carbs and natural sugars in the fruit are what you need to be active and healthy vs eating processed carbs like noodles ect..

like you said.. one is harder to process in your body... the other not so much... fruits and veggies or candy and noodles... your body will process the fruits and veggies easier and your body will take in the nutrients it needs...not much nutrients in candy and noodles..

I would not recommend weight lifting on a non carb diet. Your muscles won't recover because you won't have the energy stores that carbs give you. Veggies etc that are easy to to digest give you energy now. The things that are harder give you energy in slow bursts.

I remember reading a clinical study of fats vs carbs...

60 members...30 to a group..

one group had all fat taken out their meals not the carbs

another group had all carbs taken out and no fat..

the group that had all the fat taken out and not the carbs, started losing hair, their skin began to change color, they were laggier than a gt35 turbo on a 1.8ltr volkswagen golf..

the other group was healthy as can be...

all within the 1 month study.... the group that had fat and no carbs lost an average of 10 lbs... the other? 1 or 2... reported to gain it back quickly and then some after a week...
