I try to do that with items in the 4-digit region, not 5-digits!

How you doing Mark?

Had a guy offer me a 77' Mercedes Benz 450SL. The heck is that?

Looking at pictures, it just appears to be an older body style Mercedes. Anything special about that year?

Convertible? I absolutely love those- 450 SL converts. They were pimp-mobiles back in the day.

I would be interested in a discussing a purchase with you. I liked the fact that you were considering a trade. I have a classic 1977 450 SL ( I have owned for 25 years) Gold/black interior in good to excellent condition. The exterior has some rain spots and a few scratches and the interior is excellent. There are no mechanical issues AT ALL ( I have always babied the car) @119K miles (my friend has one with 250K
miles) and both tops are in good condition. The car is 100% stock excect for an updgraded sound sytem. The value in this area for a vehicle like mine is $14K.

I believe so, based off the 'both tops' comment.

Damn, wish I had some loot. Not fond of the gold color on those, but otherwise it sounds decent. Seals are one thing that needs to be considered on the older cars. 119k is nothing. In fact, it may have suffered from not enough driving- that is possible.

- He was offering me that car plus a good amount of change. However, such offers I'd ONLY accept knowing that I have a buyer lined up.

Oh, the Mercedes? No, it's just not me and I wont buy a car with the sole intentions of flipping it.
It's the Work's polished wheel. But nevermind, they don't offer it for the VS-XX.
