They said they go by local auction numbers. I have yet to see a single G6 GT come close to having all the bells and whistles. Not only that, I've seen the G6's sold at auction in our area at $12,500 and they all were listed as "average."

Chad, I say sell the truck if you can. If it's meant to be, it will be. This is part of the crap that makes me really hate buying cars: the That is also why I have come to you and GM. I know dealerships need to make profit, but raping and pillaging really isn't necessary.

Holy... auction value? That's freaking wholesale, well under Trade-In and Private Party value if my memory serves me correctly. Unless they're referring to Trade-In Value and just wording it differently.

Skip, honestly - I will always stick to my word. I told you I'd hold this truck for you for a week and will do so! If my manager decides to have a fit on it, I'll just explain the situation to him and inform him of your relationship with Alex & myself. There shouldn't be any issues... I'd just much rather see you take this truck home than someone else! The truck is sitting out back right now, in a row of like 5 Tundra's. They shouldn't have any problem with a single one being held for a rather confident buyer, just trying to finalize the sale of his vehicle private party first.

I am just tired of all the chaos in my life. Sewing this up would be a big plus. Next on my plate is the FC details. And track events and rollbar installations and work and.....

And yes... I'm confident I'll be buying something. Probably a gun.

I had gone to the Richmond one years ago and they lowballed me then, too. It could just be this region.

this may not be the case, but usually if a dealer "over allows" on your trade they don't discount the new car as much....knowing you mark i doubt they'd get that past ya but i'm just talking from experience

I've never traded a car but I did sell the one to CarMax, if I did trade the car the deal would be negotiated without the trade first.
