~~~ 2nd Official Hardly At Work Thread ~~~
Off-Topic : Need a bit of a favor from my OG's / Semi-OG's.
A very close friend of mine, who many of you have not met's wife is currently pregnant. Recently she has been taken to the hospital. Her water broke 8 weeks ahead of schedule.
She is fine now and fully healthy, however the baby's lugs are not fully developed. As well, with how soon it is, neither is his immune system. They are putting her on steroids to help speed up his development, however they are worried about him being born too far ahead of schedule and getting an infection.
Please, if you are religious in any way - please keep them in your prayers.
Will do.
Bed is about the same as the Tundra's.
The standard bed is definitely kind of small, especially for hauling things. However, I've heard several complaints on how large the long bed is - making it rather difficult to drive. With you knowing how to tow though, I don't suspect it'd be an issue for you.
Dude, the bed on the CrewMax is not a standard bed- it's a short bed. It's like 5.5'. A standard bed is 6.5'. A long bed is 8'. My Dodge was an extended cab long bed. It's only a problem for all the fockers who drive front-wheel drive foreign crap!
In other words, your generation!
And the size of the bed doesn't really matter in towing. It does matter when going to Lowe's and needing a 4'x8' sheet of drywall or plywood or moving a bed.
I keep forgetting that we were discussing the CrewMax. It was so back and forth with you
In other words, short bed trucks aren't really trucks- they're SUV's with the rear part cut off and sometimes can tow more.
It doesn't matter how it's badged. Our damn society is so consumed with personal gluttony that it spills over into our property purchases.
A sunroof and leather in a truck? C'mon. I had to compromise in order to have Janet give up her car. The area that was compromised was the bed... and my wallet.
