And the size of the bed doesn't really matter in towing. It does matter when going to Lowe's and needing a 4'x8' sheet of drywall or plywood or moving a bed.
I understand that - you misunderstood me, or I just came across wrong. I am just referring to over-sized vehicles in general. Personally, being a person who always drives smaller vehicles. Driving a standard truck isn't too bad for me, however when I get into things with a long bed it's difficult. When driving, especially turning, changing lanes, and backing up it's tough as I'm not used to driving something so large in size. Yourself, being someone who has towed and extended trailer you are much more familiar with it in general.
I also drove 5-ton trucks in the Marine Corps. We needed them to tow our radars and missiles. Had an explosive ordinance license as well. Towing ain't nothing but a thang.
