New Xclamp hardware should be delivered today. Hopefully, that does the trick. If not, I'll be buying a refurb 360, transferring the drives and re-modding.

I did find out that the bass is a little more strenuous to play. the buttons are little larger in size, which means you have to stretch out your hand a little more. that, and the plucking, really makes your forearms sore.

I replaced the fans with newer, quieter, high flow fans the other night (now my 360 glows blue).

Last night, I did the xclamp mod. It seems to have worked well. I played a few hours of Saints Row 2 without it freezing at all. I found that rubbing alcohol doesn't work that well when cleaning the heatsinks and chips. I used sticker remover, which worked very well. I also used a straight razor to scrap off any excess off the heatsinks.

Talismoon Whisper Fan (blue) - also comes in red and green
3RedLightFix - Xbox 360 XCLAMP Repair Kit (with 3.5g Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste compound) - They have different kits ranging from no compound included to the best they offer (Arctic Silver)

Easy to do, but unless your warranty is voided already it's not worth it
