I'd recommend playing with a controller unless you really get into it.

The cheap wheels are ..Cheap...

You have to go overboard to get a good wheel, a good wheel is no good unless solidly mounted (AKA a rig)

Decent deal on Fanatec CSR wheel/pedal combo.

Very tempting, but has anybody tried the both the base CSR pedals and the Elite pedals? Reading about the CSR Elite pedals it seems that the load cell technology would make it much more enjoyable/realistic.

Also, on the website it says that the drivers must be downloaded from there website. Can you do this without having Xbox Live?

You want the load cell pedals, I have the clubsports, huge difference.

Forra is better w/o ABS and these pedals you can really feel the limit. I cannot drive a lap on GT5 without ABS though.
