I knew it was the damn 360 causing the ring on my gow disk. I have about 12 other games but play gow the most. Sometimes I get an error message while playing and I have one hell of a ring around the outside of my disk. So what is microsoft planning on doing about this? 60 bucks a pop for a game and it gets damaged by a $400 system. Shitty imo.

I called customer service and complained about the problem. They said to send it in for repair. I said this is a big problem with MANY consoles. The lady said its caused by the vibration of the disk drive and its common among disk players. I told her thats obserb as I can play dvd's in my dvd player, cd's in my cd player so forth and they have never left scratches on my disks. I told her this is a microsoft problem with THERE console, there lens drive. She said the best she can do is to have me send it in for repair. I asked her countless times what they are going to "fix" on the console and she couldnt give me a straight answer. I of course know the problem now after reading up on the whole scratching disk scenerio. I also asked her if they plan to reimburse me for the 60 bucks I spent on my gow disk that sometimes plays correctly. I expressed my concern that there console is screwing up my games and she said there is a plan on xbox.com where I pay $20 and they will send me a new disk. I said thats bs, I already spent 60 on the game then to have to turn around and spend another 20 just to get a new game disk that there console screwed up. I told her that is absolutely rediculous. She just reitterated that all they can do is repair my console which takes 8-10 buisness days to repair. I left on the note that its pretty sad when I spend $400 on a console and it eats up my game disks and all she can tell me is the console "vibrates" and shes sorry for the inconvenience.
