or it's like you're given a ferrari to drive, but you can only use your mouth to steer. so much potential, but aggravating

 

usually I'm playing Halo3, last night I went to play GH2, but got caught up doing work.

 

I thought you got the ferrari by using your mouth? 8=======D

 

Tarts, that's how I was for the longest time. I'm an old school Quake-head... Jail Break (I expect that to be Skip'd), Team Fortress etc... many many hours getting used to mouse and keyboard. Clearly it's better, but I just can't keep up with PC gaming anymore. The hardware just costs too much.

 

yeah, I know the hardware costs too much - I agree... I haven't bought a videocard in years. but since there are so many great games out, I have no need to wait 3 seconds for my character to turn around when someone's shooting behind me. don't need that kind of aggravation when I've experienced much better things.

mouseaim is so immersive... in games like FEAR I get the shit scared out of me. but on console, meh...

 

I heard that Unreal Tournament 3 comes with a mouse and small keyboard. It may convince me to get a PS3 after all, and abandon FPS's on the PC altogether.

 

Can you link me to where you read that? That would be AWESOME. The only thing that stands in the way of me doing all my FPS gaming on consoles is the damn controls now. I can't own with thumbsticks worth a damn, but if you give me a keyboard and mouse.......

 

Oh and I may be in the PS3 camp, but who else was at Best Buy this morning picking up a certain large box of rock and or roll goodness? I'm going to have a hell of a time waiting to get home from work....

Oh snap! I'm def. getting it on the console now... I bet we'll se a bunch of people launching games that don't allow the keyboard mouse guys because we're going to mop the floor with the kids using their thumbs
