Tarts, that's how I was for the longest time. I'm an old school Quake-head... Jail Break (I expect that to be Skip'd), Team Fortress etc... many many hours getting used to mouse and keyboard. Clearly it's better, but I just can't keep up with PC gaming anymore. The hardware just costs too much.
Me too. Quakeworld baby. It all started with Wolfenstein 3D and got progressive better Counterstrike zombie.

BUUUT... as much as I hate the controller gamestyle, I can't afford the videocard/gaming rigs anymore. Having it all in one cheap lil package is good for me.

Oh and I may be in the PS3 camp, but who else was at Best Buy this morning picking up a certain large box of rock and or roll goodness? I'm going to have a hell of a time waiting to get home from work....
I believe evan is picking up that large box of rock and roll goodness later today

It would be nice to be able to experience the latest games and still be able to get the same gameplay experience (with a KB/mouse) that I had in games as close to my heart as Quake (all the way back to Q1 and before that Doom) and the original Unreal

Color me excited at the prospect

You would think its possible with the USB ports on the front of the 360, plus its basically a PC. All the games need to do is add the support. Then ppl will stop using the excuse of having a mouse.

I'm ok with using the controller to move, and the mouse to aim.

wouldn't you think the Wii would be awesome at FPS? I could wear my Halo Spartan helmet

Evan, if you don't have a pre-order (and you are in fact going to be getting RB) you might want to head out sooner rather than later. At my Best Buy there was a line outside the door at 10am. I got in and got out so that I could get back to the office, so I'm not sure if they had all of their stock on the floor or not but you might run into issues later in the day once the kids get out of school and such.

I had to fend off a few moms with the "I'm willing to kill to obtain my child's Christmas present" look on their face
