Default MsP's kitchen renovation...

With all the renovation threads out, I thought I'd throw in mine. Not as ambitious as the others I've seen, but I'm very thrilled with the results. Did not do any of it myself, except for selecting everything. Left it up to a designer and contractor who knew their stuff. It came in as budgeted and on time (six weeks). Expensive, but in my current condo, it was worth it, since I will get it all back. Here's the thread:

Looks nice, good to see you didn't go overly crazy with it.

I've seen too many people go crazy with their kitchen making it the biggest thing in the house and NON functional.

Oven, microwave and cooktop are touchpad. I think they did a great job with a limited space. It feels quite large even though it isn't.

Thanks...I didn't go along with everything he recommended, but for the most part we worked well together. I'm just sorry he relocated to Manhattan last weekend. He could be available for other projects in the future.

Whoa. How much did you pay him? He's moving on up.
