But that's a solid rear axle. On S2000s the pumpkin is mounted to the car so the relationship between the pumpkin and the tranny should stay the same regardless of ride heigt.
You know better than I on the S2000, but the angle has to change between the tranny and rear axle. Unless you put smaller tires on the car it has to change.

Right?

I think we're all saying the same thing now.

The driveshaft isn't affected. The part Evan posted was created to reduce wear on the axles, which are called drive shafts in that ad.

Also, I'm addicted to a damn Madonna song.

Drive shafts=axles in that ad.

The S2000 "driveshaft" is called a propeller shaft. It wouldn't be affected.
so they're more or less looking at it from this perspective...

the whole angle of the s2000 changes then, so the "real" drive shaft would still line up, as opposed to your picture.

Right. And that angle is hard on the joints. And especially hard on the boots. They strech on the outside of the bend and they binnnd on the inside of the bend. So they tear quickly.

And the song is "Get Together." The beat gets under your skin.

I like that song too. I, sadly, am a Madonna fan. I don't like her, but I like her music.
