I didn't pay like that, 'cause of all the extra shaving and what-not. They did say that they would charge in the neighborhood of $5500 for a color change. This did not include the engine bay.

Changing colors is expensive, I would guess (correct me if I am wrong Skip :LOL) that without the color change, shaving, extra parts, lights, etc. it would have been around $1,500.00 for a fist class paint job using OEM color?
