I have been surpised at the rate of increase in the labor rate in the last 10 years. I think there, more than anywhere else, is where the costs have risen.

What roof well? I've removed the plasitc tray that keeps the top from sagging down when stowed. That took about 30 minutes because it was a pain to get to.
