How much it is from Chris discount store? I am making shelf space for you here.

I am afraid to go back into lowes. Haven't been able to sit down since the last time I was there.

A note regarding all of the sound abatement we did (insulation, heavier subfloor, sealing all air gaps in and around floor, heavy rubber underlayment under the hardwood)...

The neighbor two floors down was playing some bass-heavy music today and I heard it in the bedroom/master bath/closet area, where we haven't done anything to the floors.

I saw him later and asked him if he was playing music, to which he replied yes, but it's in his living room, not the bedroom. The thing is, we couldn't hear ANYTHING from our living room (our layouts are identical).

I also cranked a movie and had him listen for booming bass and he didn't hear anything.

Looks like we did a good job!!!
