Wasup guys, haven't been around lately since I work nights. Droped the ULR's off so I can get them installed and have stuff rolled and pulled if needed. Hopefully I can make the next C&C.

I got an awesome no front tag ticket from the city of chesapeake. I hate the police officers. He was such a rookie tool. You could tell he was fresh from the academy.

^you're a marked man now so don't expect it to be the last. Now everytime a cop gets stuck behind you in traffic and sees that you had a front plate ticket he'll have reason to speed up and see if you put one on or not and then pull you over again.

I've already decided that when the day comes I get another s2k I'm just going to suck it up and run one. It's such a hassle for something so stupid. I wish they could just take your plate number and send you a ticket in the mail. I'd be content with that.

Well I got the ticket but I plan on going to court in hopes of having it dropped. So I'm hoping it doesn't stay on my record. I'm trying to find a clever way to mount it. I was thinking about bending the bottom of the plate back and mounting it on the grill. We will see.

I think there is a decent chance of you getting it dropped if you go to court and bring a picture of the plate mounted on the car. Hell, tell them they can go out in the parking lot and see it for themselves.

I've been contemplating my return to the s2000 for a while now. Ask Kitt or Pete how many times I've talked to them about this The question is if I've got a set amount of money to spend do I go for an ap2 and have less money to spend on mods or do I go for an ap1 and have a lot more to spend on mods? discuss! There are tons of guys running very fast ap1's so it seems with the right setup they can be just as fast or faster than the ap2 I'm wondering if I'll miss the more refined feel of an ap2.

I'd kill to have mine back just like seen below. As much as I loved the flared fenders and wider rpf1s and rollbar I like the more simple clean look I had with the volks

Steve, AP2 all day. No offense to the AP1 guys but after skimming through many pages of the UTH section, there is one common denominator, and that is AP1s seem to have more issues than AP2s. Which will take away from modding funds due to repairs. Also apperance wise, it seems the AP2 is more desireable.

I think what you did with your previous S was perfect imo. It was simple, very functional, and done right. There really isn't much to do with these cars. They are pretty well packaged out of the box. Its great for someone who wants a true roadster. For those that want a bit more, like ourselves, a few things like a decent suspension setup, meaty tires and maybe a few go fast parts...the car is pretty much done. Apperance wise a lip, spoiler, and maybe a HT will make it perfect.

That's just me though. I'm sure whichever model you go with will de done to high standards and that speaking from seeing your previous S and current STi.

Test drove an ap2 at a local dealer here. I'll definitely need another lowering rail for the stock seat or another bucket b/c boy was it small inside. That aside I still love the car. Must....do....whatever...it...takes....to...get... .one

just got the first good trade offer I've ever received in trying to sell any car I've owned. For once someone presented me with a nice car. I thought that never happens?
