Someone on the message board thing on the right side of the main page posted about just having their valves adjusted. Is it ever really too soon to do that? My car just recently hit 30k miles. I also just got a flashpro and I'm starting to play with that so I'm wondering if it's worth it. thoughts?

IMO the valve adjustment is something to do once you're closing in on 100k.

I've heard of people doing valve adjustments at 10k miles, and they were actually out of the recommended range.

I suggest checking them when You can hear them. I've done a bunch ~60k and they all needed adjustment.

I'll be honest, I have no idea what I'm listening for. I'd definitely need someone else to listen in with me.

Awesome, I'll get them out to you asap.

As for the springs, I won't be needing springs for a while. I have to run stock springs in order to stay stock class legal.

^Duh, I forgot about that on the springs. So running stock class are you still allowed to lower the car? I would imagine the coilovers would let you do that.

probably won't happen this season but I'd like to get down to an event you're running in.

Just checked the schedule and found out my Oct 9 at VMP autocross has been moved to Oct 16 at RIR. Guess I won't be attending that one. RIR is pretty lame

Cory - Thanks, I may take your offer. The plan is to run a high flow cat, but having a test pipe to compare would be great.
I looked at the Asura, but I did not get the impression it was available without a long lead time & it was a dual. As much as I prefer a dual, it will probably not help much.

Mike, why won't you buy anything from Gotuning again? Bad experience?
